Jolene Erpelding - Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, El Dorado Main Street Clean Up
Jolene Erpelding, a Commercial Lines Account Manager in the ICI El Dorado office, recognized that the need for parent participation in the El Dorado schools was great, which is why she volunteered in the Parent Teacher Organization in the El Dorado elementary school system for several years. For six years Jolene served as president of the Parent Teacher Organization, which supports the El Dorado schools and teachers.
Recently Jolene has been part of the ICI Adopt-A-Class mentoring team that works in the elementary schools. Once a week, the team meets with their assigned classroom to provide hands on work with the students. “It is extremely important for us to support our children in the community and teach them how to grow into strong adults." said Jolene. “I enjoy working with the students and teachers and learning about their challenges and successes.”
Jolene has also been involved in the El Dorado Main Street Clean Up, which strives to keep El Dorado attractive and clean. She also participates in her children's activities in the El Dorado High School and Middle School.
