Rosemary Davis - National Association of Insurance Women, Insurance Women of Wichita

Rosemary Davis, a Commercial Lines Account Manager in the ICI El Dorado office, has a long history in the insurance industry. It is not surprising, then, that she gravitates to industry-specific activities. She has served as president and other positions on the board of Insurance Women of Wichita (IWW), which is a local chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women. Rosemary was invited by a coworker to attend an IWW monthly meeting years ago and has not yet stopped!

The organization conducts an annual breakfast to honor firefighters, police officers, and members of the emergency medical services, especially those demonstrating outstanding bravery and superior service to the communities of Butler County, Sedgwick County, and the City of Wichita. Additionally, IWW also coordinates several projects to raise funds for the Fire Cam Fund for the same communities.

IWW is actively involved in insurance education. They have a Speakers Bureau, which coordinates events at local schools to educate students about insurance. They have booths at local fairs and exhibitions to distribute insurance materials to educate the general public, and also participate regularly with the Neighborhood Watch program in conjunction with the City of Wichita, as well as fire prevention poster contests and safety essay contests.

Rosemary enjoys the leadership development opportunities and education provided by IWW and the National Association of Insurance Women, as well as the many networking opportunities and friendships with others in the field.
