Our History

ICI's beginnings go back to 1885, when J.C. Hoyt & Co. was providing insurance services for El Dorado, Kansas. Ninety-seven years later, J.C. Hoyt merged with Bacon Insurance, Inc. to form Insurance Center, Inc. Since then, we have continued to grow, opening additional offices in Wichita, Derby and Emporia. In 2008, we simplified our name to "ICI".
