Jim was President of ICI from 1981 to 2001. Jim started his career with Commercial Credit Corp in 1956, served in the U.S. Army (Korea) and returned to civilian life in 1960. He joined a general insurance agency that year in El Dorado, KS. He served as President of El Dorado Independent Agents Board.
He purchased an interest in Bacon Insurance in 1970 then acquired the remaining stock in 1980. He received his CIC Designation in 1981 and has attended continuing education classes since 1961. Jim takes pride in his many years of providing insurance services for the diverse clients the agency serves today. Quality service to the agency clients and giving something back to the community is Jim’s number-one priority.
