Michael Engelmann, AAI, ARM, CWCA - Broker, has been in the insurance business since 1972. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Business Administration. Michael joined Commercial Union Insurance Company in Omaha and after graduation transferred to Kansas City. He transferred to Wichita in 1973 as a field marketing representative. Michael worked for two other insurance companies before joining ICI as a commercial lines producer in 1992.
Throughout his career, he has continued his insurance education by passing a number of insurance courses. Michael has achieved the Life Underwriters Training Council (LUTC) designation, the Associate in Management (AIM) designation, the Associate in Underwriting (AU) designation, the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Michael served as president of the Kansas Insurance Association in 1979-1980 and taught a number of insurance courses during the 1970s and 1980s. He was named “Field Man of the Year” in 1991 by the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents.
Michael works in ICI’s Derby service office where he writes all types of business insurance as well as life, health and disability income insurance.
